Our Easter - Mūsų Šv.Velykos

In February Isabella started asking me to get ready for Easter. I told her that it is little bit too early to do that. Time flies so fast when you are busy. I had not noticed when two months were gone. Three days just before Easter Isabella came to me and said: " Mommy, I'm very upset...we don't have any Easter decorations! You don't care about Easter!"
...well we had to get busy...
baking, coloring, crafting, cooking...

 {made a few nests to place on top of the flower pots}

 {egg dyeing with Kool-Aid and wax}

{ ta-da..our modern Easter eggs!}

 {Easter morning bunny stopped by and left a basket filled with goodies}

 {...and also he hid a lot of eggs in our "no grass" back yard}

  {went to a mass at St.Mary's}

 {with papaw}

I hope you and your family had fun celebrating!

Celebrating our 16th Wedding Anniversary

16 years ago I left behind my family and friends in Lithuania to create my new life in America. I had nothing but two suitcases and a new husband. Yes. Two suitcases, that's it. My entire life fitted in those two suitcases.
Looking back on that day 16 years ago, I can still feel the emotions I felt. An over arching sadness saying goodbye to my family and friends, anxiety about settling in the new country with my new husband, and overwhelming fear of the unknown.
America has been good to me, to us - after that many years I still have the same wonderful husband ;) and a beautiful daughter. These two people in my life that make my life worth living and I just want to say...

Dear God,
I wanna take a minute, not to ask
for anything from you, but simply to
say Thank You, for all I have.

I'm grateful and counting my blessings everyday.

Cheers to many more wonderful years together!

XOXO,
Jūratė

Our visit to Mount Dora, Florida in February

In February we had chance to visit very charming little town in central Florida. Mount Dora sits on a little mound (I guess) surrounded by many lakes. There are plenty of antique shops, gourmet restaurants, but we decided to drive around to check out local landscape.

                           {spanish moss everywhere and reminds me little bit of Halloween}

                                                                     {spooky trees}

                                                        {of course always climbing}

                                                              {always video recording:-)}

                                             ...it doesn't matter where you go in life
                                                 what you do or how much you have
                                                     it's who you have beside you.

                        {we had the pleasure of enjoying the most beautiful sunset in the world!}

                                                                             XOXO,

And with green grass and bursting trees
Leans to the sun's kiss glorying,
And quivers in the sunny breeze ~ Julian Grenfell
